Not all our music is dance-to music, we have plenty of successfull groups that sing rock, rap, pop, alternative, metal, and electronic. I hear Mexican pop, Spanish heavy metal, boleros, Cuban salsa and many others.
Why is it so hard to imagine that being your neighbors we wouldn’t hear Billboards 100 top songs list? or have Lady Gaga, David Guetta and Lana Del Rey give concerts at Mexico.Īnother myth that I feel appropriate to bust right now is clarifying that Spanish music has a lot of genres.
